ESA at the 77th International Astronautical Congress
The European Space Agency (ESA) is participating in the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) taking place from October 5 to October 9 in Antalya, Türkiye. The event is hosted at the Nest Congress and Exhibition Centre under the theme The World Needs More Space. Organizers expect more than 6000 attendees, including scientists, engineers, industry representatives and policymakers.
In Hall 1, booth 1B-02, ESA will operate an exhibition highlighting recent mission achievements, current program outcomes and upcoming ambitions. Visitors will be able to view satellite models, learn about Earth observation initiatives and explore details of planned lunar and Martian exploration efforts.
ESA’s presence underscores its commitment to international cooperation and knowledge exchange within the global space sector. Alongside the exhibit, the agency will host technical presentations, panel discussions and networking events that address contemporary challenges and opportunities in spaceflight.
The IAC is regarded as one of the most important annual gatherings for stakeholders from academia, industry and government. By sharing its latest work, ESA aims to boost public interest in space topics and to foster potential partnerships for future projects.
In addition to the booth, ESA will organize several workshops offering hands‑on experience in satellite data analysis and spacecraft systems engineering for early‑career researchers. These sessions are intended to support the next generation and facilitate the transfer of expertise between seasoned professionals and students.
